Recorded with 4 microphones using an Apollo 8p:
Two SE 8's wide, and a pair of AKG C414's in the middle in a XY configuration.Extensive Recording Session:
6 different velocities, with 2 versions. With pedal down, and pedal up. For a total of 12 different playing layers. Piano noises like sustain pedal and hammers were also captured in separate layers to enrich the feel when playing.Authentic Ambience:
You might hear the occasional light background noise. It is extremely hard to tell, especially when you're playing the full instrument, but you might hear occasional characteristics like that in the background, just due to the nature of being recorded in this setting.Seamless Integration:
